Kate Heinzelman, former CIA General Counsel, will join Carlyle Group as General Counsel reporting to CEO Harvey Schwartz, replacing Jeffrey Ferguson who transitions to Senior Advisor. The leadership change strengthens Carlyle's legal and compliance organization with an experienced government and private sector legal executive.
