WillScot Holdings Corporation (Nasdaq: WSC) announced on October 7, 2026, that Donald W. Slager has been elected to the company’s Board of Directors. The appointment is effective October 7, 2026, and coincides with an increase in the Board’s size from nine to ten members.

Mr. Slager was elected as an independent director and has been assigned to serve on the Audit Committee and the Compensation Committee of the Board. The Board affirmed that Mr. Slager meets the independence requirements under Nasdaq listing standards. He will receive compensation for his service under the Company’s existing non-employee director compensation program.

According to the company’s press release, Mr. Slager brings decades of experience leading public companies through transformation and creating shareholder value. Prior to his retirement in 2021, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Republic Services, Inc. (NYSE: RSG) from 2011 to 2021. Before that role, he was President and Chief Operating Officer of Republic from 2008 to 2011 and previously held executive positions at Allied Waste Industries, Inc.

Currently, Mr. Slager serves as an independent director on the boards of Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. (NYSE: MLM) and Eastman Chemical Company (NYSE: EMN). At Martin Marietta, he serves as Lead Independent Director and chairs the Management Development & Compensation Committee. At Eastman Chemical, he is a member of the Audit, Finance, and Environmental, Safety & Sustainability Committees.

Executive Chairman Worthing Jackman and CEO Tim Boswell commented on the appointment, noting that Mr. Slager’s experience in corporate governance and strategic leadership would further strengthen the Board as WillScot pursues its long-term objectives.
