VolitionRx Limited (NYSE American: VNRX) has announced the full pre-payment in cash of a senior secured convertible promissory note issued to Lind Global Asset Management XII LLC. The note, originally issued on May 20, 2025, with a principal amount of $7,500,000, was prepaid on September 11, 2026. This payment settles the outstanding balance of approximately $422,000, which was the remaining principal amount due on the note.

The pre-payment was made more than eight months ahead of the note's originally scheduled maturity date of May 20, 2027. Following this transaction, all obligations under the 2025 Note have been satisfied. The company also issued a press release on September 14, 2026, detailing the transaction.

While the 2025 Note has been fully repaid, VolitionRx noted that a separate senior secured convertible promissory note issued on January 15, 2026, in the original principal amount of $2,400,000, remains outstanding. The company stated that this second note is still in full force and effect.

In a statement regarding the move, Cameron Reynolds, Chief Executive Officer of Volition, commented that the company is pleased to be in a position to retire the outstanding balance of the note to Lind ahead of schedule. Reynolds stated that the cash pre-payment prevents further potential dilution to the company's stockholders associated with the note.

VolitionRx is a multi-national company focused on advancing the science of epigenetics. The company is developing and commercializing blood tests to help detect and monitor a range of diseases, including some cancers and diseases associated with NETosis, such as sepsis.
