Vogenx, Inc. (Nasdaq: VOGX) announced the appointment of Richard "Rich" Gorman as Chief Commercial Officer, effective October 12, 2026. Mr. Gorman will transition from his role as an independent member of the Vogenx Board of Directors, a position he has held since 2022, to the executive management team. Concurrent with his employment as Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Gorman will resign from the Board and all of its committees, including the Audit Committee, the Compensation Committee, and the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee.

In his new capacity, Mr. Gorman will lead commercial operations and corporate strategy for Vogenx. His responsibilities will include market development for post-bariatric hypoglycemia (PBH) and gastroparesis, as well as long-range portfolio planning. He will also initially oversee business development activities, including partnering and licensing strategy.

James Green, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board, stated that Mr. Gorman’s move to the management team is intended to address the commercial questions facing the company as it advances its lead candidate, mizagliflozin. Mr. Gorman brings over 30 years of experience in the life sciences industry, having supported more than 25 product launches in U.S. and international markets. His background includes serving as President of Life Science Commercialization and Strategic Consulting at Envision Pharma Group and holding senior roles at Amplity Health and Syneos Health.

Vogenx noted that Mr. Gorman’s resignation from the Board was not the result of any disagreement with the Company regarding operations, policies, or practices. The Company stated that it will conduct a search to identify a new independent director to join the Board.
