Vertiv Holdings Co. (NYSE: VRT) announced on October 26, 2026, that it has completed the acquisition of King Environmental Services Ltd. (KES). The transaction was executed by a wholly-owned subsidiary of Vertiv.
KES is a Europe-based provider of fluid management, commissioning, and load-testing services specifically designed for high-density, liquid-cooled data centers. The company serves customers across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region from key hubs in North Dublin and Frankfurt.
Vertiv stated that the acquisition expands its global thermal management services capabilities into the EMEA market. The company noted that this move builds upon its established North American fluid management presence, which was strengthened by its 2025 acquisition of PurgeRite.
According to the filing, the combination of Vertiv and KES is intended to enable customers to reduce operational complexity by utilizing a single accountable partner for commissioning, testing, fluid management, and ongoing operations. Vertiv highlighted that the services provided by KES help improve cooling system performance, maintain compliance with regional fluid handling requirements, and increase confidence in infrastructure readiness through thermal load testing.
Giordano Albertazzi, Chief Executive Officer of Vertiv, commented on the addition of the KES team to the company. He stated that as computing density increases, the performance of cooling infrastructure depends on execution in the field, and KES extends Vertiv's specialized expertise into the EMEA region.
The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Vertiv indicated that the transaction is not expected to be material to the company's financial results. The filing included a standard risk disclaimer regarding forward-looking statements, noting that actual results may differ materially from expectations due to factors such as the successful integration of KES, transaction-related expenses, and the ability to retain management and key employees of the acquired company.
