United Parks & Resorts Inc. has announced the appointment of Kyle Miller as President, effective September 22, 2026. The company stated that Marc Swanson will continue to serve as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Miller, who is 49 years old, has served as the company’s Chief Parks Operations Officer since January 2023. Prior to that role, he served as Park President of SeaWorld Orlando, Discovery Cove, and Aquatica Orlando since 2018. The company noted that Mr. Miller has served in other leadership and operations roles since beginning his career with the company in 1995.

In connection with his appointment, Mr. Miller will receive an annual base salary of $400,000. He will also be eligible for an annual bonus opportunity with a target amount equal to 150% of his base salary and a long-term incentive opportunity with a target amount equal to 300% of his base salary. Additionally, Mr. Miller will receive a one-time grant of stock options valued at $1,000,000, a one-time grant of restricted stock units with a grant date fair value of $500,000, and a one-time grant of performance stock units with a grant date fair value of $1,000,000. These awards will vest in four equal annual installments over the first four anniversaries of the grant date.

Separately, the company reported the resignation of Christopher Finazzo as Chief Commercial Officer, effective September 25, 2026. The filing also disclosed an amendment to the company’s Amended and Restated Bylaws, effective September 22, 2026. The amendment changes the bylaws to allow the offices of Chief Executive Officer and President to be held by separate individuals, a change that was previously required to be held by the same person. The amendment also establishes the powers and duties of the President, including the authority to perform duties assigned by the Chief Executive Officer or the Board of Directors.
