UL Solutions Inc. (NYSE: ULS) has completed the acquisition of the electrical and electronics (E&E) business of Eurofins Scientific SE, according to a Form 8-K filed with the SEC on October 1, 2026. The transaction was announced via a press release dated the same day.

UL Solutions, a global leader in applied safety science, stated that the acquisition extends its 132-year commitment to its mission of working for a safer world. The company noted that the deal brings together complementary expertise and capabilities, expanding its global footprint and enhancing its testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) services for electrical safety and connected products.

The acquired business provides testing, compliance, and certification services that support global market access for electromagnetic compatibility and wireless testing, electrical safety, medical devices, and other technologies. The acquisition adds laboratories and accreditations in the EMEA, Asia, and the United States to UL Solutions’ existing network.
