UFP Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq: UFPI) announced on October 26, 2026, that it has entered into an agreement to acquire the operating assets of Apache Products, Inc., dba Acme Skid. The transaction is expected to close on or around November 16, 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.
Apache Products is a pallet manufacturer headquartered in Silsbee, Texas. The company designs and manufactures stringer and heat-treated pallets. The acquisition will expand UFP Packaging's pallet manufacturing footprint and strengthen the company's ability to serve customers throughout the Gulf Coast, a major industrial and petrochemical market.
Under the terms of the agreement, UFP Industries will acquire the operating assets, including real estate, for approximately $27 million. The transaction adds approximately $55 million in annual sales and brings 165 employees into the UFP family. The acquisition is intended to integrate the Apache facility into UFP Packaging's existing pallet manufacturing network, creating opportunities to leverage UFP’s operational scale and national customer relationships.
