TransDigm Group Incorporated has announced the completion of its acquisition of Prince & Izant (P&I) for approximately $1.066 billion in cash, including certain tax benefits. The transaction was previously agreed upon on July 27, 2026, and was fully funded by cash on hand.

Prince & Izant is a designer and manufacturer of highly engineered brazing alloys and specialty metal components. The company serves the aerospace and defense, aeroderivative turbine, and transportation end markets. Specific applications include aircraft engine fuel nozzles and rocket engines. The company also serves the medical and general industrial sectors to a lesser extent.

Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, Prince & Izant employs approximately 220 people and operates manufacturing facilities in Cleveland, Tinley Park, Franksville, and Bay Shore. The company is expected to generate approximately $390 million in revenue for the calendar year ending December 31, 2026.
