Morgan Stanley Capital I Inc. filed a Form 8-K on October 2, 2026, announcing a change in the special servicing arrangements for a specific mortgage loan within the BXP 2017-CC securitization trust. Effective as of October 2, 2026, Torchlight Loan Services, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, has been appointed to replace Argentic Services Company LP as the special servicer for the Colorado Center mortgage loan and each related pari passu and/or subordinate promissory note (collectively, the “Colorado Center Non-Serviced Loan Combination”).
The appointment was made at the direction of Aperture Strategic Credit Master Fund, LP, which is identified as the directing certificateholder under the trust and servicing agreement for the BXP 2017-CC securitization (the “BXP 2017-CC TSA”).
Under the terms of the BXP 2017-CC TSA, Torchlight will assume responsibility for the servicing and administration of the Colorado Center Non-Serviced Loan Combination if it becomes specially serviced, as well as the servicing and administration of any related Real Estate Owned (REO) property. Additionally, Torchlight will be responsible for processing and performing certain reviews of material actions with respect to the loan combination when it is not specially serviced.
The filing confirms that the servicing of the Colorado Center Non-Serviced Loan Combination will continue to be governed by the BXP 2017-CC TSA.
