Tenon Medical, Inc. (NASDAQ: TNON) has announced the full repayment of its outstanding senior convertible promissory notes. The company repaid the debt in full on September 9, 2026, ahead of the notes' scheduled maturity date of September 11, 2026.

The notes were issued on March 11, 2026, with an aggregate principal balance of approximately $5.16 million. Tenon Medical stated that the repayment was a proactive measure intended to strengthen its balance sheet and eliminate the potential for the notes to convert into shares of common stock at a discount to market prices.

In a press release accompanying the filing, Steven M. Foster, President and Chief Executive Officer of Tenon Medical, noted that the repayment reduces potential dilution for shareholders and provides the company with greater flexibility to invest in the commercialization of its products and the expansion of its business.

Tenon Medical is a medical device company incorporated in Delaware in 2012. The company focuses on treating sacro-pelvic disorders and offers two systems for the sacroiliac (SI) joint: The Catamaran SI Joint Fusion System and the SImmetry+ SI Joint Fusion System, which the company acquired in August 2025.
