Tecogen Inc. announced on October 14, 2026, that its subsidiary has received a customer testimonial from Cloudsmart Inc. regarding the performance of the Tecogen InVerde cogeneration system at a data center in Connecticut.
Cloudsmart, a Tier 3, SOC 2, Cloud and AI data center, utilizes the InVerde system to generate its own power. According to the filing, the company has successfully cut its electric bills substantially since deploying the unit. Robyn Sullivan, CEO and President of Cloudsmart, stated that the system has run reliably and required minimal maintenance from the service team.
The filing notes that Cloudsmart uses the ability to offer lower energy costs and greener power sources as a competitive advantage when giving potential customers tours. Tecogen’s CEO, Abinand Rangesh, commented that the testimonial demonstrates the company’s ability to meet the demanding needs of a data center environment and convert its data center pipeline to orders.
Tecogen designs, manufactures, and sells high-efficiency, ultra-clean cogeneration products. The company has shipped over 3,200 units and has been in business for over 35 years.
