TaoWeave, Inc. (Nasdaq: TWAV) announced on October 7, 2026, that its portfolio company, Manako Labs Ltd., has gone live commercially with Avia Thévenin-Ducrot, a fuel retail group operating Avia stations in France. Manako’s Vision Agents are now operating around the clock across a first wave of 124 unmanned Avia Xpress stations.
Avia Thévenin-Ducrot has named Manako its lead Physical AI design partner. The platform utilizes existing camera infrastructure at the stations to detect payment terminal failures, equipment damage, and camera outages in real time. The system routes these issues to the appropriate personnel for repair. TaoWeave holds North American commercialization rights to Manako’s platform and participates in revenue generated through licensing agreements.
The deployment is running ahead of schedule. TaoWeave’s Chief Executive Officer, Peter Holst, stated that the deployment demonstrates that an enterprise operator has committed to the platform commercially. Avia Thévenin-Ducrot is part of a French network of approximately 770 stations, which belongs to AVIA International, a network with more than 3,000 stations across 15 European countries.
Manako’s Chief Executive Officer, Max Sebti, noted that TaoWeave has been a partner in shaping how the Vision Agents are brought to market. The press release also references the September 28, 2026, acquisition of World Labs by AMD for approximately $8.2 billion as an example of growing industry interest in Physical AI.
