Talos Energy Inc. announced on September 22, 2026, that it has appointed Barbara J. Faulkenberry, a retired Major General of the U.S. Air Force, to its Board of Directors. The appointment is effective October 1, 2026.
General Faulkenberry will serve as a director until her successor is duly elected and qualified, or until her death, disability, resignation, disqualification, or removal. Her appointment will expand the company’s Board of Directors to seven members.
Talos Chairman of the Board Neal P. Goldman stated that the company is pleased to add Faulkenberry to the board. Goldman noted that she brings more than three decades of leadership experience and a unique combination of global operations, logistics, strategy, and risk management expertise.
According to the filing, Faulkenberry retired from the United States Air Force in 2014 after a 32-year career. Her last assignment was as Vice Commander (COO), overseeing rapid global mobility operations of 37,000 personnel and 1,100 aircraft.
Before joining Talos, Faulkenberry served on the boards of several public companies. She served on the board of Callon Petroleum Company from 2018 to April 2024, where she served on the Audit and Compensation Committees and chaired the Nominating and ESG Committee. She also served on the boards of Target Hospitality Corp. and USA Truck, Inc.
The Board has determined that Faulkenberry satisfies the independence requirements of the New York Stock Exchange and the Company's Corporate Governance Guidelines. She will receive the Company's customary compensation for service on the Board.
