T-Mobile US, Inc. announced a planned leadership transition for its Chief Financial Officer (CFO) role. Peter Osvaldik, the current CFO, will retire from his position in February 2027. Following his retirement, Osvaldik will serve as a Strategic Advisor until July 1, 2027, to assist with the transition of responsibilities.

Jessica Uhl has been appointed as the CFO Designate. She will commence employment with T-Mobile in mid-September 2026 and will officially become CFO upon Osvaldik’s retirement in February 2027. Uhl, age 58, previously served as President of GE Vernova from January 2024 to May 2025. Prior to that, she was the CFO of Shell plc from March 2017 to March 2022, where she began her tenure in 2004.

The company entered into an offer of employment letter with Uhl on September 1, 2026. The agreement stipulates an annual base salary of no less than $975,000. Additionally, she is eligible for an annual short-term cash incentive targeted at no less than 200% of her eligible earnings and annual long-term incentive awards with an aggregate target grant-date value of no less than $9,525,000, beginning in calendar year 2027.

Uhl will also receive a one-time cash sign-on bonus of $1,000,000, payable within 60 days of her employment commencement. Furthermore, she will be granted one-time long-term incentive awards under the company’s 2023 Incentive Award Plan with a target grant-date value of $9,525,000. This package consists of time-based restricted stock units valued at $6,350,000 and performance-based restricted stock units valued at $3,175,000.

The terms of the employment agreement outline specific severance and benefit provisions. If Uhl is terminated without cause or resigns for good reason, she is entitled to a lump-sum payment equal to two times the sum of her base salary and target short-term incentive award. The company also stated that it reaffirms its previously stated 2026 financial guidance and maintains its capital return program and long-term financial framework.
