Standex International Corporation announced the appointment of Brenna D. Preisser to its Board of Directors, effective January 1, 2027. Ms. Preisser will succeed B. Joanne Edwards, who is retiring from the Board effective that date. Ms. Edwards served on the Board since 2018 and was Chair of the Nominating & Corporate Governance Committee. The filing notes her retirement is not the result of any disagreement with the Company.

Ms. Preisser is currently Executive Vice President and President of the Brunswick Boat Group at Brunswick Corporation. In this role, she leads a $1.4 billion global portfolio of 18 boat brands and 11 manufacturing sites. Prior to her current position, she served as President of Business Acceleration at Brunswick, leading the boat club and subscription businesses, as well as Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Human Resources Officer.

The appointment was the result of a succession planning process led by the Board’s Nominating & Corporate Governance Committee. Ms. Preisser will serve on the Board’s Compensation Committee and Innovation & Technology Committee. She will be nominated for election at the Company’s 2027 annual meeting of shareholders for a term expiring at the 2030 annual meeting.

In connection with her appointment, the Compensation Committee granted Ms. Preisser a restricted stock award valued at $150,000 under the Company’s 2018 Omnibus Incentive Plan. This award will vest in full on the third anniversary of the grant date. Ms. Preisser will also receive the standard annual compensation paid to non-employee directors, as detailed in the Company’s Proxy Statement filed on September 4, 2026.
