SS Innovations International, Inc. (Nasdaq: SSII) announced on October 26, 2026, that its SSi Mantra surgical robotic system and SSi MantrAsana tele-surgeon console were successfully utilized in live telesurgeries during two major medical conferences in October 2026.

At the European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery (EACTS) Annual Meeting in Barcelona, Spain, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Sudhir Srivastava performed a robotic-assisted cardiac telesurgery. The procedure was conducted remotely from Barcelona to a patient located at the Sri Madhusudan Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research in Bengaluru, India, a distance of approximately 7,500 miles (12,000 kilometers). Patient-side support during the atrial septal defect (ASD) procedure was provided by Dr. Lalit Malik, Chief Cardiac Surgeon of Manipal Hospital Jaipur.

Separately, at the inaugural Society of Robotic Surgery India (SRS India) Conference in New Delhi, four surgeons completed four separate robotic-assisted telesurgeries featuring the SSi Mantra and SSi MantrAsana console. The live demonstrations included a right partial nephrectomy, a right hemicolectomy, a left-sided pyeloplasty on a pediatric patient, and a modified radical hysterectomy with a sentinel lymph node biopsy. The conference was inaugurated by Dr. Jitendra Singh, India’s Minister of Science and Technology.

The SSi MantrAsana console is engineered for real-time remote procedures through ultra-low latency connectivity, high-definition visualization, and precise instrument control. As of October 23, 2026, the SSi Mantra system has been used to perform a total of 205 telesurgeries, including intricate cardiac procedures.
