Management noted that the results were achieved against a backdrop of unprecedented cost inflation and weaker than anticipated converting volumes. Management stated that price increases implemented across most paper grades are expected to more than offset these costs, with the full benefits anticipated to be realized into 2027.

For the full year 2026, the company now estimates Adjusted EBITDA to be approximately $4.7 billion. The company will host an earnings conference call on October 28, 2026, at 7:30 AM ET / 11:30 AM GMT to discuss these results.
