SiriusXM Holdings Inc. reported its financial results for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2026, in a Form 8-K filed on October 29, 2026. The company reported consolidated revenue of $2.15 billion for the third quarter, a slight decrease year-over-year. This decline was primarily attributed to lower equipment revenue caused by higher memory costs.
Despite the revenue dip, the company reported a 7% increase in net income to $317 million for the quarter. However, earnings per diluted common share declined 7% to $0.78, compared to $0.84 in the prior year, due to accounting treatment of convertible notes and fair value gains.
Key operational metrics showed improvement. Self-pay net additions increased by approximately 5,000, a significant improvement of 45,000 compared to the prior year. The company also reported a self-pay monthly churn rate of 1.5%. On the segment level, SiriusXM generated $1.60 billion in revenue, while the Pandora and Off-Platform segment reported $549 million in revenue.
SiriusXM raised its full-year 2026 financial guidance for the second consecutive quarter. The updated guidance includes an increase of $25 million for each of the three key metrics: total revenue, Adjusted EBITDA, and Free Cash Flow. The company now projects full-year 2026 revenue of approximately $8.55 billion, Adjusted EBITDA of approximately $2.65 billion, and Free Cash Flow of approximately $1.40 billion.
The company returned capital to shareholders during the quarter through $91 million in dividends and $33 million in share repurchases. As of the end of the third quarter, the company maintained a net debt-to-adjusted EBITDA ratio of 3.3x.
