SharonAI Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: SHAZ) announced on September 23, 2026, a collaboration with VAST Data to integrate VAST DataEnclave into its AI Factory platform. This integration is designed to provide customers in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region with a hardware-isolated secure runtime for running leading AI models.
Under the agreement, SharonAI will offer VAST DataEnclave as part of its platform. The technology is intended to allow regulated organizations to run advanced AI models onshore, including in fully air-gapped environments, without exposing customer data or model weights to the infrastructure operator.
VAST DataEnclave operates within the VAST AI Operating System. Proprietary models execute inside confidential virtual machines built on CPU-level trusted execution environments, with NVIDIA GPUs operating in Confidential Compute mode. This ensures that guest memory, GPU memory, and interconnect traffic remain encrypted throughout processing.
SharonAI customers and model builders will retain independent control over encryption keys through Bring Your Own KMS integrations. The collaboration allows deployments to run connected via the open CNCF Trustee stack or fully air-gapped, with VAST and Fortanix enabling on-premises attestation and key brokering for customers unable to connect to external services. Every attestation event and enclave lifecycle action is recorded in a tamper-proof audit trail.
