RTX Corporation announced on September 15, 2026, that Jill Albertelli has been appointed as the President of Pratt & Whitney, effective January 1, 2027. Albertelli will report to RTX Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Chris Calio. She succeeds Shane Eddy, who is retiring from the company.

Albertelli brings over three decades of experience across Pratt & Whitney, having served most recently as the President of the Military Engines business. In that role, she secured the company’s sole source propulsion position on the F-35 fighter aircraft, improved F135 engine delivery and quality performance, and expanded sustainment capability and capacity.

Before her promotion, Albertelli held various roles spanning engineering, manufacturing operations, quality, supply chain management, commercial programs, sales, maintenance repair operations, and strategy. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Boston University and a Master of Business Administration from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Eddy will remain with the company through March 2027 as a special advisor to support the transition. He assumed the role of President of Pratt & Whitney in 2022 and has guided the business through a multi-year transformation effort and the production and sustainment ramp for the Geared Turbo Fan and F135 engines.
