Artificial Intelligence Technology Solutions, Inc. (AITX) announced on October 7, 2026, that its wholly owned subsidiary, Robotic Assistance Devices, Inc. (RAD), has received an additional order for 180 RIO units from an established property management customer. This order expands security coverage at a vacant property already utilizing a RIO unit.
The customer has a multi-year purchasing history with RAD, often placing recurring orders for one or two units at a time. Collectively, these orders represent close to two dozen RIO units, demonstrating a pattern of repeat business and expansion as the customer's coverage needs evolve. The latest order involves repositioning an existing unit and adding a second unit to improve sight lines across the vacant property.
RAD’s Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Security Officer, Troy McCanna, noted that repeat orders are earned property by property. The customer has utilized the portable design of the RIO units to address security needs at vacant properties, which face challenges such as exposed assets, multiple access points, and obstructed sight lines.
According to the filing, RAD’s solutions are designed to deliver cost savings of between 35% and 80% compared to traditional manned security. The company’s SARA (Speaking Autonomous Responsive Agent) platform processes video, audio, and sensor data to support automated analysis and response. The filing also notes that RAD has completed a SOC 2 Type 2 examination regarding its data protection controls.
