Artificial Intelligence Technology Solutions, Inc. (AITX) announced on October 14, 2026, that its wholly owned subsidiary, Robotic Assistance Devices, Inc. (RAD), has secured an order for seven ROSA units from a new municipal customer located in a major Midwest city. The units are intended to be deployed throughout a civic plaza to help safeguard public spaces through the detection and active deterrence of loitering, trespassing, and suspicious behavior.

The order was facilitated by a longstanding RAD channel partner. The company stated that the city council participated in the selection process and approved funding for the deployment. This order adds a new municipal customer to RAD's client base, which already includes municipalities, Community Improvement Districts (CIDs), and Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) across the country.

According to the filing, RAD's ROSA units utilize SARA agentic AI to detect activity, engage people, and help address security issues as they develop. The units are designed to close gaps left by video monitoring that depends on human attention and to reduce the recurring labor costs associated with staffing locations around the clock. The company noted that RAD solutions are designed to integrate with leading industry platforms, including Immix, a provider of central station and remote monitoring software.

AITX highlighted that its solutions are deployed across a wide range of industries, including enterprises, government, transportation, critical infrastructure, education, and healthcare. The company has completed a SOC 2 Type 2 examination covering its controls, system scope, and review period. The filing includes a cautionary statement noting that the announced order does not, by itself, establish that the seven units are installed, operational, or generating revenue.
