Quanta Services, Inc. announced on September 9, 2026, the appointment of Ellen Rubin to its Board of Directors. The company reported that the Board increased its size from ten to eleven directors and elected Ms. Rubin to fill the vacancy created by this expansion.
Ms. Rubin has been appointed to serve on the Audit Committee and the Safety, Operations and Risk Committee of the Board. According to the company’s press release, she brings deep expertise in technology matters, including artificial intelligence, cloud computing, technology strategy, and cybersecurity risk management.
Ms. Rubin currently serves as an Operating Partner at Glasswing Ventures LLC, a venture capital firm focused on AI and frontier technologies, a position she has held since January 2025. Her previous roles include Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Causely, Inc., an AI software company, from January 2022 to August 2024, and General Manager of Hybrid Cloud Storage Services at Amazon Web Services from January 2020 to June 2021. She also previously served as Founder and CEO of ClearSky Data, Inc. from 2014 to 2019.
In addition to her role at Quanta, Ms. Rubin serves as a director of Allegion plc (NYSE: ALLE), a global security and access solutions provider, a position she has held since June 2023.
Regarding compensation, Ms. Rubin will receive a pro-rata annual cash retainer of approximately $105,000 for her service on the Board and committees. She will also receive a pro-rata annual award of restricted stock units valued at approximately $131,000, which vests in full upon the conclusion of the 2026-2027 director service year. She will participate in the same compensation program and benefits as the company’s other non-employee directors.
The company stated that there are no arrangements or understandings between Ms. Rubin and any other person regarding her appointment, and she has no material interest in any transactions that require disclosure under Regulation S-K.
