Profound Medical Corp. (NASDAQ: PROF) announced on October 9, 2026, that it has entered into a co-education agreement with Telix Pharmaceuticals Limited (NASDAQ: TLX). The collaboration aims to educate urologists, radiologists, nuclear medicine physicians, and prostate cancer centers on the complementary roles of Telix’s PSMA-PET molecular imaging technologies and Profound’s MRI-guided TULSA-PRO platform.

Under the agreement, the companies will jointly conduct initiatives including participation in major scientific and medical society meetings, key opinion leader programs, educational summits, speaker programs, webinars, and the development of clinical case studies and best-practice materials. The goal is to increase physician awareness of PSMA-informed treatment pathways and support appropriate patient selection and treatment planning.

Profound’s Chief Executive Officer Arun Menawat stated that the agreement strengthens the company’s relationship with a strategic partner and increases access to urologists. He noted that combining advanced molecular imaging with incisionless, MRI-guided therapy could support broader market development and enhance the clinical and economic value proposition of the TULSA Procedure.

Profound also highlighted that PSMA-PET imaging may help identify distant metastases or disease beyond the prostate that is not readily detected, potentially allowing physicians to determine if higher-risk patients remain appropriate candidates for the TULSA Procedure. Additionally, Profound is developing PSMA-PET–MR image-fusion capabilities for inclusion in a future release of its Treatment Delivery Console software. This functionality is intended to allow Telix’s diagnostic PSMA-PET data to be incorporated into TULSA-PRO treatment planning using real-time intra-operative MR images.
