Plains All American Pipeline, L.P. (Nasdaq: PAA) and its general partner, Plains GP Holdings (Nasdaq: PAGP), announced on September 29, 2026, the appointment of Dean Liollio as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (EVP and COO). The appointment is effective October 2, 2026.
Mr. Liollio replaces Chris Chandler, who provided notice on September 25, 2026, that he will resign from the company effective October 2, 2026. The company stated that Mr. Chandler is resigning to pursue other interests and that there is no disagreement relating to the company’s operations, policies, or practices.
Mr. Liollio, age 67, has served as Senior Vice President, Special Projects, of Plains since June 2024. Prior to this role, he served as President of Plains Midstream Canada from 2020 until 2024, President of PAA Natural Gas Storage from 2008 until 2020, and President of Plains Gas Solutions from 2016 until 2020. Before joining Plains in 2008, Mr. Liollio held executive roles including President, Chief Executive Officer, and Director of EnergySouth, Inc., and President and Chief Operating Officer of Centerpoint’s natural gas distribution operations across a five-state area including Houston. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University.
As EVP and COO, Mr. Liollio will receive an annual base salary of $625,000. His annual bonus target is set at 150% of his base salary, and he will receive a time-based promotional Long-Term Incentive Plan (LTIP) grant for 150,000 phantom units, which will vest in August 2029. Plains stated that there is no family relationship between Mr. Liollio and any executive officer or director of the company.
