Pinterest, Inc. has appointed James Dibbo as its Chief Financial Officer, effective October 26, 2026. Mr. Dibbo, age 56, will report to CEO Bill Ready and lead the company’s global finance organization, which includes finance, accounting, FP&A, investor relations, treasury, tax, business and corporate development, internal audit, and workplace functions.
Mr. Dibbo joins Pinterest from Amazon, where he most recently served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Global Entertainment, Advertising, and Corporate Development. In that role, he led finance for businesses including Amazon Ads, Prime Video, Amazon MGM Studios, Music, Audible, and Twitch. Prior to his role at Amazon, he served as CFO of Worldwide Consumer and CFO of North America Consumer, helping to scale global operations and strengthen profitability. Before Amazon, he was CFO of P.F. Chang’s and held senior finance leadership positions at Tesco PLC and BT Group plc. He began his career at PwC in London and holds a B.S. in Economics from Cardiff University and is a Chartered Accountant (FCA).
The appointment comes as Julia Brau Donnelly departs the company to pursue another opportunity. Ms. Donnelly will cease serving as CFO effective October 26, 2026, but will remain with Pinterest in an advisory capacity through October 30, 2026 to support an orderly transition. Vikram Naidu will not assume the role of interim principal financial officer and will continue serving as Vice President, Finance and Business Operations.
According to the company’s Offer Letter, Mr. Dibbo will receive an annual base salary of $650,000 and is eligible for an annual cash incentive bonus with a target equal to 100% of his base salary, prorated for 2026. The compensation package includes restricted stock unit awards with an aggregate initial value of $19,980,000 and performance share awards with a target value of $3,200,000. Additionally, the company anticipates granting Mr. Dibbo an additional restricted stock unit award with an initial value of $9,000,000 in April 2027, subject to continued employment.
