Pilgrim’s Pride Corporation and its wholly owned subsidiary, Pilgrim’s Europe Finance PLC, announced on September 9, 2026, the pricing of a private offering of senior notes. The offering consists of €500 million in aggregate principal amount of notes with a 4.750% coupon rate due in 2034.
The sale of the notes is scheduled to close on September 23, 2026, subject to customary closing conditions. The notes are being offered exclusively to qualified institutional buyers under Rule 144A and to certain non-U.S. persons under Regulation S, and they have not been registered under the Securities Act of 1933.
The company stated that it intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes. Specifically, the funds will be used to fund the consideration related to the company’s recently announced acquisition of Walkers Deli & Sausage Company, as well as to pay associated costs and expenses.
Pilgrim’s Pride employs approximately 63,000 people and operates facilities across 14 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, Mexico, the U.K., the Republic of Ireland, and continental Europe.
