PetVivo Holdings, Inc. (OTCQX: PETV) announced the appointment of Dr. Jaime K. Pickett to its Board of Directors, effective September 22, 2026. The appointment comes as the company fills a vacancy created by the resignation of Diane Levitan, who stepped down from the board on the same date. The company stated that Dr. Levitan’s resignation was not the result of any disagreement with the company regarding its operations, policies, or practices.
Dr. Pickett brings over 20 years of experience in animal health, corporate strategy, and business development. She currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer of EQUUSIR USA and as an Advising Chief Medical Officer and board member of Alexander International Innovations. Additionally, she is a member of the Board of Chief Veterinary Medical Officers and a multi-unit franchisee for Scenthound.
From 2023 to 2026, Dr. Pickett held executive leadership roles with Hannah Pet Hospitals, including Chief Executive Officer, President, and Chief Strategy Officer. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2022, she served as Chief Veterinary Officer and Senior Vice President of Pet Paradise and Chief Operating Officer of its subsidiary, NewDay Veterinary Care. In these roles, she led strategy across more than 55 pet resorts and veterinary hospitals in over 15 states and directed teams of more than 100 veterinary professionals.
Dr. Pickett holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, an MBA from St. George’s University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Johns Hopkins University. She completed the Global C-Suite Program through Wharton Executive Education at the University of Pennsylvania.
The company noted that Dr. Pickett will initially serve as a non-employee director and receive compensation consistent with the company’s other non-employee directors, prorated for her period of service. Following the changes, the Board continues to consist of six directors. The company stated that there are no arrangements or understandings between Dr. Pickett and any other persons regarding her selection, and she does not have any family relationship with the company's directors or executive officers.
