Perspective Therapeutics, Inc. (NYSE American: CATX) announced updated interim results from its Phase 1/2a clinical trial of [212Pb]VMT-α-NET on October 23, 2026. The data were presented as a rapid oral presentation at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress 2026, held October 23–27, 2026, in Madrid, Spain.
The trial evaluates [212Pb]VMT-α-NET in patients with unresectable or metastatic somatostatin receptor type 2 (SSTR2)-expressing neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) who have not received prior radiopharmaceutical therapy. The analysis included 68 patients across three dose cohorts as of the data cut-off date of September 2, 2026.
Efficacy results varied by dose cohort. In Cohort 2, which received 5.0 mCi, the objective response rate (ORR) was 33% (15 of 46 patients). In Cohort 3, which received 6.0 mCi, the ORR was 50% (10 of 20 patients). The disease control rate (DCR) was 89% in Cohort 2 and 95% in Cohort 3. Across all cohorts, the progression-free survival (PFS) rate was 72% at 18 months.
Safety data indicated the treatment was well-tolerated. There were no reports of dose-limiting toxicities (DLTs), no treatment-related discontinuations, and no serious adverse events (SAEs) related to the study medication during the treatment-emergent adverse event window. A low incidence of high-grade treatment-emergent adverse events (TEAEs) was observed, with 20 out of 68 patients (29%) experiencing Grade 3 events.
The company stated it aims to complete Phase 3 site start-up preparations around year-end 2026, with Phase 3 initiation expected in 2027. Perspective Therapeutics will present additional data at the NANETS 2026 Multidisciplinary NET Medical Symposium on November 5, 2026, and the EORTC-NCI-AACR (ENA) Symposium on November 20, 2026.
