PDS Biotechnology Corporation announced on October 6, 2026, that it will host a virtual key opinion leader (KOL) event focused on its investigational drug candidate PDS0301. The event is scheduled for Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 8:00 AM ET.
Jonathan M. Hernandez, M.D., an investigator with the Surgical Oncology Program at the National Cancer Institute’s Center for Cancer Research, will join company management for the discussion. The presentation will cover clinical outcomes from the PDS0301 Phase 2 trials, specifically regarding advanced liver-associated cancers.
Dr. Hernandez’s presentation will focus on the metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) cohort. The event aims to provide an overview of the PDS0301 trial in patients with second and third line unresectable microsatellite stable (MSS) or mismatch repair-proficient (pMMR) colorectal liver metastases. The company notes that MSS patients constitute the majority of mCRC cases, a population where immunotherapy has historically been ineffective.
PDS0301 is an investigational interleukin-12 (IL-12) immunocytokine. The company describes the drug as designed to deliver IL-12 preferentially to the tumor microenvironment to promote T cell and natural killer (NK) cell infiltration. The company also owns the Versamune® cancer vaccine platform, which includes PDS0101, currently being evaluated in HPV16-positive cancers.
