Parsons Corporation announced a leadership transition within its finance department, effective November 6, 2026. Matt Ofilos, the company’s Chief Financial Officer, has notified the board of his resignation to pursue another professional opportunity. The resignation is not the result of any disagreements regarding the company’s operations, policies, or practices.

On October 26, 2026, the Parsons Board of Directors appointed George Ball as Interim Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Ball will assume the role effective November 6, 2026. Mr. Ball is a current member of the board and previously served as the company’s CFO from 2008 to 2022. He joined Parsons in 1995 and played a key role in the company’s transformation and its initial public offering in 2019.

In connection with his appointment as Interim CFO, Mr. Ball will receive an award of restricted stock units valued at $2,400,000. These RSUs will vest on the one-year anniversary of the award, subject to pro-ration based on his actual service period. Mr. Ball will continue to serve on the board but will not receive any additional cash or equity compensation for his interim service.

Chair, President, and CEO Carey Smith expressed gratitude for Mr. Ofilos’s five years of service, noting that he helped grow revenue and profitability. The company stated that Mr. Ball’s deep understanding of Parsons will support an orderly transition while the board conducts a search for a permanent successor.
