Onconetix, Inc. has announced that its Board of Directors has approved a one-for-ten (1-for-10) reverse stock split of the company’s outstanding common stock. The split is expected to become effective at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time on November 6, 2026.
The reverse stock split will combine every ten shares of Onconetix common stock into one share of common stock. As a result, the number of outstanding shares is expected to decrease from approximately 5,886,774 shares as of October 21, 2026, to approximately 588,677 shares.
The company’s common stock will continue to trade on the Nasdaq under the existing trading symbol “ONCO,” but it will be assigned a new CUSIP number: 68237Q500. The reverse split will not alter the number of authorized shares, which remains at 250,000,000, nor will it change the par value of the common stock, which remains at $0.00001 per share.
No fractional shares will be issued in connection with the split. Stockholders who would otherwise be entitled to a fractional share will instead receive a cash payment equal to such fraction multiplied by the closing sale price per share on the trading day immediately preceding the Effective Time.
The reverse split will affect all stockholders uniformly and will not change any stockholder’s percentage ownership interest, except in the case of fractional shares. Proportional adjustments will be made to the number of shares issuable upon exercise or conversion of the company’s outstanding equity awards, convertible preferred stock, and warrants, as well as the applicable exercise or conversion prices.
