OMNIQ Corp. (OTCQB: OMQS) announced on November 3, 2026, that it has been awarded a new contract to expand its license plate recognition (LPR) technology deployment at a major U.S. academic medical center. The agreement calls for the addition of 29 new LPR lanes to the customer’s existing infrastructure.

The company stated that the new lanes will be installed at entry and exit points to support parking management and daily operations. This contract builds upon an existing relationship with the customer, a nonprofit institution known for integrated patient care, research, and education.

Shai Lustgarten, Chairman and CEO of OMNIQ, commented on the award, stating, “Healthcare campuses need parking technology that works reliably every day. This customer’s decision to add 29 lanes reflects the trust we’ve built through our existing deployment. For OMNIQ, it demonstrates how established customer relationships can translate into additional business.”

OMNIQ noted that the award supports its strategy of expanding AI-based solutions within established accounts by serving additional operational needs. The company provides AI-based computer vision technology for various applications, including traffic and parking management.

The press release also included a section on privacy and data security, stating that license plate data is processed and stored in a private network with limited access to authorized personnel. OMNIQ indicated that data is retained and purged according to the agency’s policy and applicable state law, and that the company does not sell plate data or share it with third parties for commercial purposes.
