Oil-Dri Corporation of America (NYSE: ODC) announced record financial results for its fiscal year 2026, which ended July 31, 2026. The company reported consolidated net sales of $493.8 million, representing a 2% increase over the prior year. This marked the highest annual sales figure in the company's history. Net income for the year reached $56.97 million, a 6% increase compared to fiscal year 2025.
The company’s cash position also reached a historic high of $73.7 million at the end of the fiscal year, up from $50.5 million in the prior year. During the year, Oil-Dri invested $34.2 million in capital expenditures and returned $12.6 million to shareholders through share repurchases.
Fourth quarter sales reached $129.3 million, the highest quarterly revenue in the company's history. This top-line growth was driven by improved product mix in both the Business to Business and Retail & Wholesale product groups. Net income for the fourth quarter was $14.42 million, a 10% increase over the prior year period.
The Retail & Wholesale Products Group delivered record sales of $313.6 million, up 4% year-over-year. This growth was primarily driven by a 47% increase in co-packaged cat litter and a 16% gain in crystal litter. Conversely, the Business to Business Products Group saw sales of $180.2 million, a slight decrease of 1% from the prior year. Within this segment, agricultural carriers achieved record sales, increasing 11% year-over-year, while revenues from fluids purification and animal health products declined.
Despite strong sales, annual consolidated gross profit was $137.5 million, down 4% from the prior year. This decline was attributed to a 4% increase in per ton domestic cost of goods sold, driven by higher manufacturing and freight costs. The company also announced that its Board of Directors declared quarterly cash dividends of $0.225 per share of Common Stock and $0.168 per share of Class B Stock, payable on November 20, 2026.
