Novo Nordisk A/S (NYSE: NVO) announced a collaboration with artificial intelligence company Anthropic. The partnership aims to accelerate the development of new medicines by addressing key drug discovery challenges identified by Novo Nordisk scientists.
Under the agreement, the two companies will jointly develop targeted solutions for specific scientific challenges and workflows designed to support biological reasoning. Additionally, Novo Nordisk will utilize Anthropic’s frontier models to strengthen AI-driven software development, a key enabler for scaling AI capabilities across the company.
The collaboration includes robust data governance and human oversight measures. These protocols are intended to ensure that AI is applied responsibly and in line with Novo Nordisk’s ethical and compliance standards.
At the time of publication, Novo Nordisk shares were up 0.25% to $42.63.
