Nova Minerals Corp held an Industry Day at Port MacKenzie in Alaska on September 17, 2026, to showcase the progress of its antimony processing and refining project and discuss the development of the port as a strategic industrial hub. The event, attended by nearly 100 industry, government, and infrastructure leaders, focused on Nova Minerals' role as an anchor tenant within the Port MacKenzie industrial district.

A central focus of the event was Nova Minerals' antimony processing and refining project, which is supported by a $43.4 million award from the U.S. Department of War (DoW). The company provided updates on development milestones and the facility's role in establishing a domestic antimony supply chain for the United States. The Port MacKenzie district encompasses nearly 10,000 acres of industrial-zoned land and is being developed as a gateway for mineral and industrial exports to U.S. and international markets.

Infrastructure discussions included the West Susitna Access Road, the Port MacKenzie Rail Extension, and the Alaska LNG project. Presenters included representatives from the Port MacKenzie, Matanuska-Susitna Borough, Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority (AIDEA), Alaska Railroad Corporation, and various engineering and financial firms.

Alaska Governor Mike Dunleavy praised the event, noting that Nova Minerals had delivered antimony refining and processing equipment to the port. He highlighted the project as a step toward creating an Alaska-based supply chain for a critical mineral, creating jobs and investment while reducing dependence on foreign sources.

Matusu Borough Manager Mike Brown stated that over $100 million in recent investments have been received for Port MacKenzie, including improvements to roads, utilities, and connections. Nova Minerals CEO Christopher Gerteisen emphasized the company's role as an anchor for additional investment and development within the district.
