Nextdoor Holdings, Inc. has announced a voluntary transfer of its Class A common stock listing from the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) to the Nasdaq Stock Market, effective October 13, 2026. The company notified the NYSE of its intention to withdraw the listing on October 1, 2026, following authorization from its Board of Directors.
Trading of Nextdoor shares on the NYSE is scheduled to conclude at market close on October 13, 2026. The stock is expected to begin trading on Nasdaq at the market open on October 14, 2026. The company will retain its current ticker symbol, NXDR.
In a statement regarding the move, Nextdoor CEO and Co-Founder Nirav Tolia noted that the transfer will allow the company to leverage Nasdaq’s technology and information infrastructure while driving operational efficiencies. He added that the company is excited to join other large and innovative firms on the Nasdaq platform.
Nextdoor describes itself as the essential neighborhood network, connecting over 110 million verified neighbors. The platform offers services such as trusted local news, real-time safety alerts, and for-sale listings. The company also utilizes its Investor Relations website, social media channels, and LinkedIn to disseminate information regarding its business and financial performance.
