Rekor Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: REKR) has received written notification from The Nasdaq Stock Market LLC granting the company an additional 180-calendar-day period to regain compliance with Nasdaq’s minimum bid price requirement. The new compliance deadline is April 26, 2027. The company’s common stock will continue to trade on The Nasdaq Capital Market under the symbol “REKR” during this time.

Under Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(a)(2), a listed company must maintain a minimum closing bid price of $1.00 per share. Rekor previously failed to meet this requirement because its closing bid price fell below $1.00 for 30 consecutive business days. The initial 180-day compliance period expired on October 26, 2026.

Nasdaq granted the extension under Listing Rule 5810(c)(3)(A)(ii), citing the company’s compliance with other listing requirements, including the market value of publicly held shares, and the company’s written notice of its intention to cure the deficiency. To regain compliance, the closing bid price of the company’s common stock must be at least $1.00 per share for a minimum of ten consecutive business days during the additional compliance period.

If Rekor does not regain compliance by April 26, 2027, Nasdaq will issue a written notification that the company’s securities will be delisted. The company may appeal that determination to a Nasdaq Hearings Panel, but a hearing request would not stay the suspension of trading. The company stated there can be no assurance that it will regain compliance within the additional period or maintain compliance with Nasdaq’s other listing requirements.
