NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman has announced that specific components of the Boeing Starliner spacecraft will be redesigned prior to the vehicle's next crewed flight.
The announcement comes as part of a broader plan for the Starliner program, which is set to conduct up to five crewed missions to the International Space Station for NASA.
Isaacman stated that the redesigns are intended to address safety and performance requirements for the upcoming crewed mission.
The next crewed flight is scheduled to take place in 2028.
