The Middleby Corporation (NASDAQ: MIDD) announced that it will discontinue its Middleby Brewing & Distilling Solutions Group business, commonly referred to as the Brewing Group. The discontinuation is expected to be substantially complete by the end of 2026. The Brewing Group includes the Deutsche Beverage + Process, Ss Brewtech, and Wild Goose Filling brands. In 2025, the segment generated approximately $24 million in net sales and incurred an approximate loss of $9 million in adjusted EBITDA, which had a negative impact of approximately 60 basis points on the company's adjusted EBITDA margin. The company projects that the discontinuation will be immaterial to its 2026 financial guidance and anticipates realizing the annual benefit of the decision within its 2027 adjusted EBITDA margins.
