MicroVision, Inc. (NASDAQ: MVIS) issued a press release on October 7, 2026, reaffirming its financial outlook and outlining a strategy for commercial growth and profitability. During a virtual business update event, the company’s leadership discussed the progress made since introducing its Lidar 2.0 strategy earlier in the year.
The company confirmed its full year 2026 revenue guidance remains between $10 million and $15 million. Management projects that revenue will double in 2027 as a result of its commercial strategy and a growing pipeline across industrial, security and defense, intelligent infrastructure, and other key markets.
MicroVision is also implementing a more disciplined financial model. The company is aligning operating expenses and capital allocation behind commercial opportunities to generate meaningful cost savings. This strategy is expected to result in a significant reduction in cash burn in 2027 compared to 2026.
Leadership highlighted recent commercial traction, including opportunities with Robinson Unmanned, deployments for autonomous ground vehicle defense applications using IRIS technology, and an APAC autonomous mobility services pilot. The company is also evaluating opportunities to strengthen its balance sheet, including its debt structure and lease obligations.
MicroVision expects to provide additional information on its third quarter performance and commercial outlook during its upcoming Q3 2026 earnings call.
