Microbot Medical Inc. (Nasdaq: MBOT) announced on October 27, 2026, that it has secured its first customer for the LIBERTY Endovascular Robotic System in an Office-Based Laboratory (OBL) setting. The customer is ELMNT IR, a multisite outpatient interventional radiology practice based in California. The company disclosed that ELMNT IR has signed an order to purchase up to a 12-month supply of LIBERTY devices.

According to the filing, ELMNT IR is the first Office-Based Laboratory in the world to utilize the LIBERTY Endovascular Robotic System and marks the company’s first customer on the West Coast. The OBL setting allows physicians to perform minimally invasive, image-guided procedures outside of traditional hospital environments.

Jonathan Steinberger, M.D., co-founder of ELMNT IR and a board-certified interventional radiologist, has already performed multiple procedures using the LIBERTY System. These include Y90 mapping for liver tumors, Prostate Artery Embolization (PAE) for benign prostatic hyperplasia, and Genicular Artery Embolization (GAE) for knee osteoarthritis. Dr. Steinberger stated that the LIBERTY system offers a compact footprint and efficient workflow, which he believes makes it optimal for establishing an Endovascular Robotic Program in an OBL.

Microbot Medical’s Chairman, CEO, and President, Harel Gadot, commented that the relationship with ELMNT IR continues a trend where every customer that utilized initial LIBERTY inventory has subsequently reordered additional systems. The company noted that the LIBERTY System is the only FDA-cleared, single-use, remotely operated robotic system for peripheral endovascular procedures.
