Mexico's President Claudia Sheinbaum announced that she will sign a decree on Wednesday to mandate digital platforms operating within the country to protect minors from violent and sexual content.
The decree requires these platforms to implement measures ensuring the safety of children online. Under the terms of the new order, digital platforms are given one month to come into full compliance with the requirements set forth in the decree.
