Match Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: MTCH) announced its financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2026, in a press release dated November 2, 2026. The company reported that its strategy to improve user experiences is delivering results, with specific metrics at its Tinder brand showing strong year-over-year performance.

Tinder’s Daily Active Users returned to year-over-year growth in September, marking the first time this metric has grown since more than three years ago. The company attributes this improvement to specific features, including Sparks and Sparks Coverage, which delivered their strongest quarterly year-over-year performance since tracking began. Additionally, Tinder is testing new features such as Events and Group Hangouts, and is advancing its "Better with Friends" roadmap to drive user reconsideration.

Separately, the company’s Hinge brand reported double-digit year-over-year growth in users, revenue, and paying subscribers. Match Group stated that it delivered against its financial expectations for the quarter.

In other business developments, Match Group’s Board of Directors declared a cash dividend of $0.20 per share of its common stock. The dividend is payable on January 21, 2027, to stockholders of record as of the close of business on January 6, 2027. The company also noted that its disciplined approach to capital allocation has reduced diluted shares outstanding by 4% year-over-year and 10% since the beginning of 2025.

Match Group’s leadership expressed confidence in the company’s progress. CEO Spencer Rascoff stated that while there is still work ahead, the company is delivering on the milestones set for 2026. CFO Steve Bailey noted that the underlying trends at Tinder are continuing to improve and that the company is focused on translating these trends into sustainable revenue growth in 2027.
