LSB Industries, Inc. (NYSE: LXU) reported its financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2026. The company announced net sales of $158.6 million for the quarter, an increase from $155.4 million in the same period of the previous year.

Key financial metrics for the third quarter of 2026 included a net income of $16.3 million, compared to $7.1 million in the prior year. Diluted earnings per share (EPS) were reported at $0.22, up from $0.10 in the third quarter of 2025. Adjusted EBITDA for the period was $62.3 million, compared to $40.1 million in the prior year.

On a product-by-product basis, sales of AN and nitric acid totaled $80.9 million, representing a 41% increase from the prior year. This growth was driven by higher selling prices and increased sales volumes. Conversely, sales of Urea ammonium nitrate (UAN) decreased to $20.2 million, a 61% decline, attributed to a shift in production toward AN and lower volumes due to a planned turnaround at the Pryor facility.

As of September 30, 2026, the company held approximately $203.5 million in cash, cash equivalents, and short-term investments, with total debt reported at $442.2 million.

Management highlighted that each of the company's three facilities set new monthly production records during the first nine months of 2026. The company also provided an update on its El Dorado Carbon Capture and Sequestration (CCS) project. The company expects to capture and sequester between 400,000 and 500,000 metric tons of CO2 per year, which is projected to reduce Scope 1 emissions by approximately 25%. The project is contingent upon the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's issuance of a Class VI permit, with an estimated operational date potentially in the second half of 2027.

LSB Industries will host a conference call on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. ET. Chairman and CEO Mark Behrman, CFO Cheryl Maguire, and EVP of Commercial Operations Damien Renwick will participate in the call.
