Loop Industries, Inc. announced on September 8, 2026, that it has appointed Jeffrey R. Geygan as Chairman of the Board of Directors. This appointment follows a corporate governance restructuring that separates the roles of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Founder and CEO Daniel Solomita will continue to serve as CEO and a Director, focusing on commercial execution.

Under the new structure, Mr. Solomita will retain direct responsibility for advancing Loop’s planned projects in India and Europe, developing strategic partnerships, managing customer relationships, and leading the Company’s financing strategy. Mr. Geygan will lead the Board’s oversight of corporate strategy, governance, and capital allocation.

The Company stated that Mr. Geygan brings extensive capital-markets and public-company governance experience. He has previously served as Chairman of Climb Global Solutions, Inc. and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Inc. Additionally, Mr. Geygan serves as Chairman of Global Value Investment Corporation, a significant shareholder of Loop Industries.
