L3Harris Technologies, Inc. has appointed Kimberly Fields to its Board of Directors, effective October 21, 2026. The company’s Nominating and Governance Committee recommended the appointment, which was approved by the Board.
Fields, 56, currently serves as the Chair, President, and Chief Executive Officer of ATI, Inc. She was appointed Chair of the ATI Board in May 2026 and has held the role of President and CEO since July 2024. Prior to her leadership roles at ATI, Fields served as Group President of Industrial and Energy at IDEX Corporation. Her earlier career included leadership positions at GE Energy, Alcoa, The Boston Consulting Group, and Owens Corning.
Fields joined ATI in 2019 as Executive Vice President of the Flat Rolled Products Group. She subsequently led both of ATI’s operating segments, Advanced Alloys & Solutions and High Performance Materials & Components, before being named Chief Operating Officer in 2022 and President in 2023.
The Board increased its authorized size from eleven to twelve directors to accommodate Fields. Her initial term on the L3Harris Board will expire at the company’s 2027 Annual Meeting of Shareholders. She is not currently assigned to any Board committees.
Sam Mehta, President and CEO of L3Harris, stated that Fields brings an exceptional track record of scaling operations and driving sustained performance, noting that her expertise in complex manufacturing will be instrumental as the company accelerates production and expands capacity.
