Johnson & Johnson announced results from the Phase 3 MajesTEC-3 clinical trial evaluating TECVAYLI in combination with DARZALEX FASPRO for the treatment of relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma. The data demonstrated disease control and survival benefits for patients receiving the combination therapy.
The trial assessed TECVAYLI (teclistamab) in combination with DARZALEX FASPRO (daratumumab and hyaluronidase-fihx) against standard-of-care therapy, which included a proteasome inhibitor and an immunomodulatory agent. The study evaluated the combination's efficacy in patients who had previously received two or more lines of therapy.
According to the results presented, the combination therapy met its primary endpoints, showing significant improvements in progression-free survival. The data indicated that patients treated with the TECVAYLI and DARZALEX FASPRO regimen experienced prolonged disease control compared to the standard-of-care arm.
