Johnson & Johnson has announced that its biologic therapy TREMFYA (guselkumab) met both its primary and major secondary endpoints in a Phase 4 study focused on patients with active psoriatic arthritis and axial involvement.
The study, known as STAR, evaluated the efficacy of the drug in biologic-naïve adults. The primary endpoint assessed the improvement of axial symptoms, while major secondary endpoints focused on the reduction of inflammation as measured by MRI assessment.
According to the announcement, the results demonstrated that TREMFYA was effective in addressing both the clinical symptoms and the inflammatory markers associated with the condition.
